Refund policy
We want you to love what you got. If not, here's the deal.
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to start a return. No drama. No restocking fees on most items. Full refund to your original payment method within 5-10 business days of us receiving the item.
What you can return
Most items. Including:
- Squiggle mirrors
- Disco objects
- Funky lamps & lighting
- Jelly & acrylic furniture
- Wavy frames
- Decor accessories
What you can't return
For hygiene, safety, and supply-chain reasons:
- Sale items final price (marked "FINAL SALE" at checkout)
- Personalized / custom-made items (made just for you)
- Items damaged through misuse after delivery
- Gift cards
- Bulb installations or wall-mounted items that have been installed (you can return them unmounted)
How to start a return
1. Email returns@brota-home.com within 14 days of receiving your order
2. Include: order number, item(s), reason (optional · helps us improve)
3. We send you a return label (US/EU) or instructions (other regions) within 2 business days
4. Pack the item in original packaging if possible · with original tags / accessories
5. Drop off at the indicated carrier
6. Once received and inspected, full refund hits your original payment method within 5-10 business days

If the item arrived damaged · defective · wrong item → we pay shipping in 100% of cases. Always.
Damaged on arrival
If your package arrived damaged or the item is defective:
1. Take a photo within 48 hours of delivery
2. Email support@brota-home.com with photos + order number
3. We send replacement or full refund (your choice) · no return ship needed in most cases
4. Resolution within 5 business days
Refund timing
- Card refunds: 5-10 business days after we receive the return
- PayPal: 1-3 business days
- Shop Pay / Apple Pay / Google Pay: 3-7 business days
- Bank transfer: 7-14 business days
Refund goes to original payment method. If that's not possible (closed account, expired card) we issue store credit.
EU customers: your statutory rights
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights), you have 14 calendar days from the day you receive your goods to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason. We respect this in full:
- Full refund of product + standard outbound shipping
- We pay return shipping inside the EU
- No restocking fee
- Refund within 14 days of us receiving the returned item

Mexico customers: derechos del consumidor
Under LFPC Art. 56 bis (Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor · post-2025 reform for e-commerce), you have 10 business days to cancel without cause after receiving your order. We extend this to 14 calendar days voluntarily.
Additional Mexico statutory protections:
- 60-day product warranty (LFPC Art. 79) on top of our voluntary 30-day defect coverage
- PROFECO jurisdiction for consumer disputes
- Right to return defective products at no cost (we cover shipping)
Lost in transit
If your tracking shows "delivered" but you don't have the package:
1. Check with neighbors / front desk / package room within 48 hours
2. If still missing, email support@brota-home.com with order number
3. We file a carrier claim and issue replacement or refund within 7 business days
